Despite its “admirably effortful” stab at gastropub fare, Fay is left disappointed by the Martin brothers' 10th venture just down the road from their 2011 newcomer, Chiswell Street Dining Rooms; the menu is “laboriously on-trend” with a “gimmicky nod towards ingredient awareness” not helped by “odd and not wholly successful” cooking methods. Fay's advice? “Wait for the Martin brothers' 11th”.
I disagree entirely. It's a great addition, great rotisserie, serious wines by the glass, great decor and eager to please service. A welcome newcomer to the area.
