Atul Kochhar’s Mayfair Indian restaurant Benares was closed by a fire in the kitchen on Saturday, reports caterersearch.com.
We have subsequently been informed on behalf of the restaurant that the conflagration was a “minor fire in the restaurant’s ventilation system”, and that the closure is likely to last for between two and four weeks.
