William Drabble, who succeeded Gordon Ramsay as head chef of Aubergine a decade ago, but recently ‘moved on’, has been named as the new executive chef of the restaurant at the St James’s Hotel, reports bighospitality.com.
Seven Park Place, opening on 9 September, will occupy the ill-fated dining room that was formerly Andaman. Star German chef Dieter Muller’s venture there opened last September, only for it to close a few months later.
Drabble is potentially one of London’s best chefs, so this should definitely be ‘one to watch’.
