Sophie’s Steakhouse to open in Covent Garden

Sophie’s Steakhouse SW6 is to open a Covent Garden offshoot in November.

Why did it take so long? Steakhouses would seem to be obvious chain material, but the Fulham establishment has been trading solo – apparently with great success – since 2002.

Whisper it quietly, but Covent Garden is slowly shedding its reputation as a dining destination fit only for tourists who know no better.
