Poppy's Place blossoms in Fulham

More

A new 'farm-to-table' café/restaurant opened yesterday on Munster Road in Fulham. Poppy's Place is a co-venture between Scarlett Guess, a former director of her family’s Jermyn Street steakhouse Rowley's (never, to be frank, a star West End performer), and chef Alastair Prichard.

This is Guess’s first venture, but she follows in the footsteps of brother Will, who opened up Chop Shop on Haymarket last year. The family's meaty pedigree seems set to continue at Poppy's Place, with a 'focus on steak' on the evening menu.
