Jamaican Patty Co open in Covent Garden

More

picture of Patty Co

Hot on the heels of Dub Jam's BBQ and rum shack, the Jamaican Patty Co brings more Caribbean spice to Covent Garden. Patties are freshly baked on the premises every day, with a variety of fillings including jerk chicken, prawn, curried goat and saltfish and ackee.

Speciality soups have an island twist, including pumpkin with a spicy kick, chicken and dumpling, and gungo pea. And for the sweet of tooth there's Tortuga rum cake, banana bread and Devon House ice cream (which, curiously, really does come from the Caribbean).

Drinks include Blue Mountain coffee, freshly squeezed coconut water and soursop juice. Soursop, as we all know, is a fruit native to the Caribbean.
