Bowler Bar and Grill in Chelsea has shut up shop, enhancing its Pond Street premises reputation as almost indubitably the worst ‘graveyard’ site in London.
We’ve frankly lost count of the number of incarnations the site has been through. When we started off Harden’s, in 1992, it was called Kenny’s, and the name over the door seems to have changed at least bi-annually ever since.
Are there any other sites in London that, within living memory, have had more than half a dozen incarnations?
