Those who regretted the passing of The Tenth – one of the few London restaurants with both a view and decent food – may find solace in this summer’s opening of Min Jiang, on the same 10th-floor Kensington site.
Housed in the Royal Garden hotel, and with impressive Kensington Gardens views, the new restaurant – a spin-off from a duo of establishments in Singapore – will focus on the cuisine of Sichuan.
The house speciality is billed as Beijing duck, cooked in a traditional wood fired oven and served in two services; soup followed by pancakes.
