Aqua details trickle out

>> Read our first-week review <<

Details are emerging of Aqua London, which looks set to be one of the biggest openings of the year. The vast space (17,000 square feet), on the top floor of the former Dickins & Jones department store, on Regent Street, will house two restaurants.

'Aqua Nueva' is to serve “contemporary northern Spanish cuisine”, whilst the Japanese ‘Aqua Kyoto’ will have a sushi bar and sumibiyaki charcoal grill. There will also be a bar, ‘Aqua Spirit’, and three outdoor terraces.

Aqua London is Aqua Restaurant Group’s first venture outside China. The Hong Kong firm owns ten restaurants, known for their avant-garde design.
