Omnivorous high-end restaurateur Richard Caring has snapped up an 80% interest in the Soho House group of clubs and restaurants for £105 million, reports the Sunday Times.

Founder shareholder Nick Jones is now the only other shareholder in the group, which previously had a wide range of media/celeb backers.

Apart from clubs in London, the West Country and New York, the group has a small number of pure restaurant interests, such as Cecconi’s W1.
