The former Theatreland site of Denim – an impressive bar which was a an early-wave adopter of TV-screens-as-décor – is to be relaunched as Kyashi, a Japanese/European restaurant, in May.

It’s backed by Dezzi McCausland – proprietor of Soho’s Kingly Club. The cv of Executive chef Andrew Lasseter includes stints at Eight over Eight W11 and Cocoon W1.

Restaurant magazine reports that facilities will include a first-floor sushi bar, and, above that, yet another private members’ club.
