Early-September will see the launch, by Searcy’s, of St Pancras Grand, a sibling operation to the ‘longest champagne bar in Europe’, which opened last year.
The 200-seater – a large restaurant by usual standards – will offer “quintessentially British dining” from an all-day menu. Let’s hope it has a bit more spark that Geronimo Inns’ Betjeman Arms, the other (allegedly) very British dining room already catering to Eurostar passengers.
