The mystery destination of Paul Kitching, one of the North West’s most prominent chefs, can now be revealed.
The Manchester Evening News reports that he’s leaving Altrincham (near Manchester) to make an entirely new start – with a more conventional style of cuisine – in a boutique hotel to open in Edinburgh some time next year. “It's time for me to grow up, cook in a different way", he told the newspaper.
One of the most established names on the Edinburgh scene, unfortunately, is Tom Kitchin (no ‘g’) – should make for a good few confused rendezvous.
