Philip Howard – one the most highly-regarded English chefs – is to open a new restaurant in Kensington in the autumn.
The new venture – from the chef who has maintained The Square W1 as one of London’s best dining rooms since it opened back in 1991 – is in conjunction with Rebecca Mascarenhas.
Ms Mascarenhas already owns the site, which has traded as both 11 Abindgdon Road and, briefly, as Bistrot 11, under her proprietorship.
Howard’s day-to-day involvement with The Square is unaffected.
