Famed for its large portions, American restaurant chain The Cheesecake Factory is set to open on the former site of grocer Union Market on Fulham Broadway.
With over 150 locations across America, this marks the first European restaurant for the chain, whose first (and to date, only) international locations will soon open in Kuwait and Dubai.
Plans for further expansion include new restaurants across America, as well as an additional 22 restaurants due to open in the Middle East by 2016.
An official opening date will be announced soon.
UPDATE: We have just had confirmation from The Cheesecake Factory headquarters that there is no such restaurant planned. The information reported in relation to the opening in both trade and local media is incorrect.
