The inaugural London Restaurant Festival kicks off tonight with a launch party at Quaglino’s (by invitation). From tomorrow until 13 October, many restaurants – nearly 600, across the capital – will be offering ‘Festival Menus’ to mark the event, which aims to become the ‘Edinburgh’ of the (restaurant) festival world.
Menus are intended to showcase the very best of each venue’s specialist cuisine. There is also a programme of other events. Most of these take place over the forthcoming weekend, and include a chefs/critics quiz (see special offer).
