Heston Blumenthal and roadside operators Little Chef seem to have kissed and made up. Bighospitality.co.uk reports that the top toque is working with the chain on bringing the sort of overhaul he wrought at their Popham branch to York and Kettering later this year.
Inevitably, we read that “the next stage of the project which was the subject of the Channel 4 series Big Chef Takes on Little Chef, will also be filmed and broadcast on Channel 4 in the autumn", tending to increase suspicions that Heston is becoming the sort of chef who never does anything without a film crew behind him.
And we all know where that leads.
