Barnsley House in administration

Barnsley House, a trendy country house hotel in the Cotswolds, has gone into administration, reports bighospitality.co.uk.

To some extent, the hotel is clearly a victim of the recession. But it probably does not help that prices, as noted in the current edition of Harden’s, have struck some reporters as “excessive”.
