The Chicago Rib Shack – a major London destination in the ’80s and ’90s – is to be reborn. The new establishment, including a 230-seat restaurant, will be located near the original Knightsbridge premises (which, as it happens, still lie empty).

Backers CRS Leisure are also to launch a new Manhattan-style steakhouse concept – Stake – later this year.

PS You can already book for meals during the preview period (25 April - 6 May) on the Shack’s fancy website, which is already very much up-and-running. The restaurant is situated on the multiple graveyard site, which has traded as Isola, and then Mocotó, in recent years.
