Bonfire night cracker: Top New York chef comes to Knightsbridge (Updated)
Hotshot New York chef Daniel Boulud – holder of three Michelin stars at his landmark restaurant Daniel – is to open a restaurant in London in the spring, reports the Evening Standard.
Bizarrely, his arrival at the Mandarin Oriental hotel will precede that of another three-star chef, our own Heston Blumenthal, in the very same building later in the year.
The Knightsbridge hotel will then become one of the few in the world with outposts of two of the world’s leading chefs. In fact, are there any others? Watch this space!
