Oh dear, two consecutive stories about D&D London (the outfit formerly known by reference to the name of its founder, Sir Terence Conran). But we were amused by an offer they’re running all through this month.
To celebrate the oyster season, their Pont de la Tour SE1 restaurant is offering half a dozen oysters (of unstated provenance) per couple of diners who mention the oyster offer when booking, and present an Oyster card when they pay.
Now, to be frank, our recent survey results weren’t that kind about Pont de la Tour (as they weren’t about a lot of D&D restaurants). But, perhaps of necessity, the boys at D&D do know a bit about marketing, and this struck us as a rather good offer.
Especially if you book for the set lunch, while the sun is still shining.
