An all-you-can-eat buffet – with options at breakfast, lunch and dinner – is a longstanding feature of this no-frills veggie veteran: a family business that started out as a market stall in 1984. It also offers an à la carte menu, which includes a significant Indo-Chinese section. No alcohol, so knock yourself out on the array of milkshakes and lassis. (It also has offshoots in Hatch End and Kingsbury).

A “surprise find” for the uninitiated, this veggie Indian trio has actually grown out of a family-run Wembley stall set up in 1984. The food is “freshly prepared” and “full of flavours”, with the Wembley and Kingsbury branches offering an unlimited buffet; Hatch End is à la carte only.

This family-run Wembley veggie stalwart with “great East African[a] / Indian food” has expanded over almost 40 years from a market stall to a full-scale restaurant, featuring dishes from across India and Indochina and an unlimited buffet with 45 choices. There are now menu-only branches in Hounslow and Hatch End.

Stalwart Indian veggie in Wembley, which has developed over 35 years from a family fruit ’n’ veg stall to a full-fledged restaurant (with branches in Hounslow and Hatch End). There’s a “really good variety of cuisine, with Indo-Chinese on the side”, with “something to suit everyone… except carnivores”. Opinions differ on whether the buffet option or main menu is the best way to go: either way it’s cheap as chips.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
