Auberge du Lac, Brocket Hall

The Survey ResultDiary

“A beautiful setting for any occasion”; this “romantic” lakeside destination with terrace makes an especially good lunch destination, especially when the bargain menu is “second only to Le Gavroche for value!” – the occasional visit this year, however, was upset by “inattentive” service.

Press Reviews (1)

  • Sunday Telegraph Jasper Gerard (3rd June 2008)
    7/10

The critic finds this grand lakeside restaurant is “run with meticulous care”, but he also notes that it “ain’t cheap”. We’d like to summarise the rest of the review, but it’s so wrapped up in its own metaphors that that’s not really possible.
