Owner's description

Located on the historic Trent Bridge sits the Riverbank Bar and Kitchen, a stylish and contemporary restaurant and bar, with a superb waterside location where guests can benefit from idyllic riverside views. The Riverbank also is home to a widely popular function room, The Gallery, used for a range of events including weddings and conferences. Its is fully licensed for civil ceremony with a dedicated Events Team behind it.

Enjoy the vista from the modern all-weather terrace featuring wild-flame heaters and wind-free enclaves to keep you warm and snug, should you want to enjoy food or drink alfresco in the winter. During the English summers you’ll be shaded from the sun and sheltered from the showers!

The bar offers an impressive range of drinks and is home to a newly installed stone bake oven producing the most delicious pizzas! Boothed seating and high tables provide the perfect location for groups to gather and the in house stage plays host to popular live music acts and DJ’s throughout the year.

The star of the show is The Riverbank’s chic, brasserie-style restaurant, led by expert head chef Mark Osborne. The superb kitchen team serve top-quality cuisine that’s imaginative and refined, yet unpretentious and affordable. The chefs seek out the finest of the region’s produce to use in each fresh seasonal dish. The options on the regularly updated menu vary from classic fish and chips to more novel choices like the increasingly popular Duck 2 Ways: duck breast, confit duck leg, fondant potato, romanesco and roast fig sauce. This broad and colourful spectrum of cuisine aims to please all palates and impress even the most discerning of diners.

The dynamic and knowledgeable team of waiting, bar and event management staff aim to make your experience at this beautiful venue a memorable one.
