A “long-running favourite with fantastically fresh fish the order of the day, accompanied by smashing wine and great attention to detail”; the “understated, charming” venue also benefits from a “lovely French ambience”.
“A little gem tucked away from the grotty quayside joints” that elicits raves for its “individual, lovely” French food (especially fish) and “friendly” ambience; “prices have increased recently and they do tend to pack 'em in, but it's still always a treat to visit”.
“At first glance this looks like any other harbour pub”, but probe further and you’ll find the “most perfect French bistro”, serving “really good” food (not least for fish-lovers); “the recent revamp has made the ambience jolly pleasant too”.
“A great find” in the underserved harbour district – this “very welcoming” Gallic brasserie serves “top-class food” (especially “for fish lovers”); more than one fan, though, sees the “Happy Eater-style menu” as a sign that this fine dining venue is “not too sure of its niche”.
