2009 Review: “New chef Michael Riemenschneider is taking the Abbey kitchens to an even greater height”, so it’s “well worth a visit” to this “acclaimed spot”, just off the sea-front, to sample his “simple, exquisitely prepared and very fresh” food; (the young Swiss chef, incidentally, has subsequently acquired Juniper, near Manchester, so let’s hope he’s not taking on too much).
