In a rural spot near Gleneagles, this cosy restaurant-with-rooms serves “excellent, French-bistro-type food made with local Scottish ingredients”. Chef/patron “Fabrice (Bouteloup) is also an amazing baker and pastry chef”, so “fantastic” bread is par for the course, while “head waitress Alma is always attentive”.
“Well worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity” (about 10 minutes from Gleneagles) – this “charming hotel/restaurant” has a “cosy and intimate dining room (with a snug for pre-dinner drinks)”. Chef/patron, Fabrice Bouteloup, provides “adventurous” cuisine, with many dishes featuring “an explosion of different flavours”.
