It retains a good degree of “old worlde” charm (and breakfast is a highlight), but this Covent Garden temple to roast beef can seem a “disappointing” sort of place, with “badly-trained” staff and “leaden” fare; (rather worryingly, the management here are also in charge of re-launching the neighbouring Savoy in 2009).
