A “famous haunt” that’s “long traded on the incredible atmosphere of its virtually unmarked, dim and cavernous, basement location”, just off the Strand; “pre- or post-theatre, it’s the place to be”, but foodwise only the “secret burger” (famously “off-menu”) can really be recommended.
