For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Nice place, shame about the food” – a dreary chain whose only obvious asset is the sometimes grand and historic setting of its branches.
These “buzzy” English brasseries often occupy “fantastic” old buildings, and fans say they make “reliable” venues for many occasions; there are still too many reports, though, of meals where “every dish disappointed… and always in a different way!”
Browns Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Most of our part of six enjoyed lunch. The food is average, and the service was very slow, although this did not bother the group."
"Visited this branch of Browns on the night they introduced a new fixed price menu. Perhaps the fact that this was new was a reason for the generally slow service. The food, however, was well prepared and well presented."
"Visited on the opening night launch of their new menu. This may have explained some of the uncertainty of the staff who served us. However the food was certainly very acceptable and good value."
