Restaurant details

The chef

Our Executive Head Chef, Eduardo Tuccillo, is inspired by his Neapolitan heritage and has been influenced by his travels and further training. In 2000 he studied at the Ecole de Cuisine cookery school by Michelin-starred Chef Alain Ducasse. Eduardo’s culinary philosophy reflects the knowledge gained from prestigious mentors such as Alfonso Iaccarino, Claudio Sadler and Gennaro Contaldo.

“My relationship with my profession is like a marriage: sometimes it’s stressful. Sometimes I think I hate it, but it’s not really hate, it’s love. It is beautiful”

Private dining

The space we use for large groups is our lower ground floor with its characterful bar, intimate atmosphere, and quirky mix of reclaimed furniture, copper lighting, and leather bench seating. This dining room can accommodate 35 seated guests, host a cocktail party of up to 45, or alternatively, can be used semi-privately for smaller groups.

"What a great find. We were walking around near my hotel one night looking for a place and happened upon Twist. one of the best stops in London on this trip. Spanish, tapas-style in a cozy, bustling but warm environment standouts were octopus, black garlic risotto and lamb chops. service was outstanding. even though it's a bit cramped, the waiters and waitresses did a great job getting around and staying friendly can't wait to go back!"

"Twist is in my neighbourhood (Marylebone) and has been there for 2 years, but I've just discovered it. And glad I did. Had lunch there recently and enjoyed the food and service. Plates are designed for sharing., tapas style. Two of us shared: taleggio frites (3 for 2 people , similar to arancini) , Paccheri, fried courgette flowers (2 for 2, beautiful and tasty), tortelli truffle (beautiful and delicious, my favourite). With the daily bread selection and a bottle of Nero d'Avola the bill for two came to £72 (incl service). Returned for dinner the following week. Still remember when this address was Garbo's, a Swedish restaurant, near the Swedish Embassy , but that dates me. Bare room and bare wooden tables means it's somewhat noisy, but not intolerable. Reservations recommeded."
