Simon Rogan (of Cumbria’s L’Enclume fame) is one of the UK’s most innovative chefs, and his talents are impressively demonstrated by the 6-course and 10-course set menus offered at the short-term (two-year) ‘pop up’ he launched in Marylebone in mid-2011; the setting though – especially the cramped rear room – is bare.
