Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Quirky”, swish venue hidden away off Tottenham Court Road, whose glam basement bar is the crown jewel feature. The ground floor restaurant lacks the verve it once displayed, but some still admire its “fun” style and “great Thai food”.
A “quirky hidden gem”, “tucked away off Tottenham Court Road”, with a glam, if slightly faded cellar bar (“very unusual WCs”), and stylish, ground floor dining room; it’s not the destination it once was, but still “great fun” and with “good Thai food” too.
“Seductive” decor makes for “a fun night out” at this “funky” Fitzrovia bar-restaurant; unfortunately, though, “‘crazy’ describes the prices too”, and the pan-Asian cooking is “not what it was”.
With its sexy basement bar and mega-lavish decor, this ever-“trendy” Fitzrovia haunt still pleases most reporters, and its “pricey” pan-Asian fare generally hits the spot too; service, however, can be somewhat “idiosyncratic”.
