  • Richard and Peter Harden (21st October 2008)

Press Reviews (3)

  • The Telegraph Zoe Williams (5th October 2009)
    7/10

In a Mayfair hotel dining room full of “stylish” types, the critic feels underdressed, so she focuses on the food: this turns out to be mostly “very special and amazing”, with some bizzarely “enormous” desserts at the end.
  • Metro Marina O'Loughlin (21st January 2009)
    3/5 stars

“Michele Granziera, formerly second in command at lushly upmarket Zafferano in Knightsbridge, is a talented chef. And, as is the way with talented guys in today's London, he's ended up taking the corporate dollar, settling in yet another of the capital's luxury hotels, The Millennium in Grosvenor Square.”
  • Evening Standard Fay Maschler (8th October 2008)
    2/5 stars

“Can I explain our concept?” The critic is always distinctly un-thrilled to be asked this question, and particularly at this new Mayfair Italian where the concept seems to involve “sharing un-shareable dishes” (as well as “bowing to the kitchen’s strictures on timing”). The odd good dish leads her to conclude that the establishment has “an able chef”, but she concludes that he is “floundering in an environment that was making all the wrong demands”.
