At best, John McClement’s “old-fashioned French bistros” are “everything a neighbourhood place should be” – “cheap”, “buzzy”, and offering “classic” dishes; ratings dipped a little this year, though – perhaps the strain of the new SW13 branch that’s been “a most welcome addition to the area”.
