Offshoot of a starry restaurant in Lyons, this ambitious South Kensington newcomer (on the site of Lundum’s, RIP) is a puzzling affair in every way; our early-days lunchtime visit found notably up-and-down food, and décor – black shag-pile and all – so bizarre that it was impossible to work out who the place is supposed to appeal to.
