“All the traditional tapas were good” when the critic visited this Fulham tapas bar, but it is the speciality paella which was an “aesthetic triumph”, and with an “impressive” depth of flavour too.

The critic finds “faultless” quality of ingredients at the new Parson’s Green tapas bar spin off from Cambio de Tercio. Realisastion of some dishes was “faultless”, but “[o]thers seemed less well-conceived”. “Service was unfailingly smiling and attentive – and the restaurant was packed out with affluent Fulham folk on our visit, while nearby restaurants were having a quiet evening.”

Mr Gill makes a remarkable discovery – Sloanes, “a whole nest of them” – in the new Parson’s Green offshoot of Cambio de Tercio and Tendido Cero (“the most consistently edible Iberian restaurants in London”). The food, he concludes is “far better than they deserve, or notice”.
