Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
This squished Belgravia Sardinian has a “fabulous menu” and its very competent cooking is very consistently highly rated; it’s perennially pricey though – even fans can feel costs are “pushed up to unaffordable levels for what is in essence a neighbourhood restaurant”.
“Dated” ’90s Belgravian, with “tables too close together and dreadful acoustics”; “it’s very popular for good reason” though – its Sardinian cuisine is “consistently excellent” and matched with “interesting Sardinian wines”.
“Expensive but excellent” Belgravia’s ‘original’ Olivo looks pretty “tired” nowadays, and it gets pretty “noisy” too; “after all these years”, though, the Sardinian cuisine remains “fresh” and “authentic”.
A minimalist Sardinian fixture, near Victoria, which is “always packed with regulars”, thanks to its “interesting” wines and “consistently good” cooking… “dreadful acoustics and dated décor” notwithstanding.
