Harden's survey result
For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“The best view in London”, overlooking the Thames from the “iconic Royal Festival Hall”, could make this huge D&D London venue the perfect place “to impress”. But while most reviews are more positive than at the adjacent restaurant, a few are similarly downbeat: “left feeling hungry and a little cheated price-wise”.
“Location, location and location” – including the “wonderful” Thames view – are all that “redeems” the cheaper option at the D&D London’s massive South Bank complex, where service is “indifferent” and the “flair-free food offers much but delivers little”.
The cheaper option at the D&D Group’s massive South Bank dining room fares no better with reporters than its neighbour, but it does at least have the same “fantastic” view.
With its “gigantic windows for watching the sunset”, this “buzzy” cheaper section of the D&D group’s massive South Bank dining room is “better value than the adjacent restaurant”; the grill fare is “reliably good” and the view is just the same as next door.
