The critic finally gets around to reviewing a “not-particularly-new, but apparently very good, restaurant in Bermondsey”. But, hold everything, apparently restaurant reviews are too dull nowadays, so we’re to get a celebrity restaurant review – the establishment is to face “the ultimate test; trial by David Baddiel, the burst water main of reviewing companions”. (Wasn’t one of the reasons the Independent was founded to go against all this celebrity bollocks?)
