New owners the Black & Blue group don’t seem hugely to have changed the spirit of this South Bank ‘institution’ (their word), which inhabits atmospheric railway arches near the Festival Hall – it’s still “not a foodie destination”, but “good live jazz” adds to its “reliable” pre-concert appeal.
