A marvellous “traditional” Islington boozer, where only one detail is out-of-kilter: the “lovely” staff are “authentically French”! – they create a brilliant atmosphere, and serve up “excellent real ale” and a “good wine list”, plus “competent, if sometimes oddball, cuisine”.
