The Barbican’s “calm” in-house brasserie is arguably “surprisingly good” (or, to put it another way, “convenient, and not bad”); with “such a large captive audience”, though (especially if you include the residents), it’s perhaps surprising that “they still haven’t found a formula really to pack ’em in”.
