“Great stuff”, “fun all round” – as seems to be becoming a trend, when Ms O’Loughlin likes a place, she really likes it. This week it’s a new City Lebanese which is the object of her affections.

This Lebanese newcomer in Bishopsgate is an “Aladdin's cave of sumptuous over-the-topness”, and provides an “entertaining setting”, says the critic. The fare is full of “soothing, easy flavours”, and service is “friendly and unfussy”. Some dishes though, can taste “fairly one-dimensional”.
