Meat/fish: 7/10 points; Cooking: 8/10 points; Water: 10 (“tap” offered instantly); Score: 8.5; Price: £20 a head, and excellent value from Malcolm’s brief wine list, expertly matched to the cuisine, with glasses from £2.95.
Overcoming concerns about dishes with titles such as “mock dog”, the critic is impressed by the “wondrous richness” and “zing” of the fare at this unassuming Shoreditch Vietnamese.
