Summary

A “good busy Italian in the heart of the business district” – an outpost of the ever-better-known national chain. While it’s arguably a tad “overpriced”, even sceptics laud the “great atmosphere” (often animated by local WAGs) and the “vast” menu usually has something to suit.

Summary

This “fun and bustling” and “very plush” outpost of the national chain is "great for WAG-watching", and offers “good” (if “eye-watering”-ly expensive) food. The “over-the-top bling style” and “sometimes overly charming” staff are “not to everyone’s taste”, but it's a “successful formula” nonetheless.

Summary

This “dressed-to-the-nines” Italian, the city-centre branch of a “glossy” national chain, offers food of a “surprisingly high” standard, with fish “always the best option”; tables, though, “might be too close for some”.

Summary

“Still the place to be seen, but the food doesn’t suffer!”; this glam and buzzy city-centre outpost of the glitzy national chain is “probably the city’s best Italian”, with fish and seafood a highlight; “staff are great characters, which always makes it fun”.

"Disappointing.Fritto-misto ok as was the rest of the menu really . Service was ok until I was served a glass of vinho verde masquerading as a glass of vin santo . When it was returned , I had to point out that vin santo is not 'frizzante' and they eventually backed down . Go if you want to people watch - but much better food to be found in Liverpool ."
