For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“Fresh” ramen, “gorgeous miso soup”, and “helpful staff” are the draws at the London outlets of this global, Japan-based noodle chain with branches near Centre Point and in Canary Wharf, although some would argue that they do suffer from “that ‘chain’ feel”.
“It shouldn’t be hard to take a reliable international formula and clone it”, but these new outposts of the global Japanese tonkotsu chain get a mixed rep – even those who rate its first branch as “very good” say “it’s inferior to Kanada-Ya across the road”, and the worst reports are of food that’s “watery and greasy”.
