Cadiz is Edinburgh’s newest seafood restaurant overlooking George Street. The restaurant serves the best of Scottish seafood, alongside a distinctly Mediterranean and international flavour.

The menu is a delicious journey from the cold waters around Mull where we source our scallops, to Shetland, for our mussels and the North Atlantic, for our calamari and haddock.

For those who are not mad about seafood we have added prime Scottish steaks and marinated-roasted chicken and of course we haven’t forgotten our vegetarian friends. There really is something for everyone.

In addition to our wide selection of small and large plates, we also serve the best quality lberico de Bellota ham, hand carved to order by Emilio, our fully trained ‘Iberico Trinchador’ for that extra Spanish feel.

A fine wine list has been specially selected to complement our delicious seafood menu, with careful pairings that pander to all tastes and palates. Featuring classic pairings, and less obvious New World wines, each varietal will create a new experience with every meal.

A specialised cocktail list has also been inspired by the quintessential Mediterranean holiday with drinks ranging from “The Pink Sea” to “Rum Lover in Every Port”. These cocktails have all been handcrafted and perfected by Joao, our Bar Manager.

This small, but light and airy first floor restaurant has an intimate and contemporary feel, giving our diners the feeling that they have found their very own stylish city hideaway where they can enjoy delicious food, fine wines and service that is second to none.

If you prefer a fast bite, we have a bar where you can sit, relax and enjoy a few oysters and glass of champagne, or perhaps one of our mixed platters of Iberico de Bellota ham and 17 month aged Manchego cheese.

There is a small dining area to the rear of the restaurant overlooking the kitchen which can be reserved for small parties and chef’s table style lunch meetings or business dinners for up to 12 persons.

Our daily lunch and pre-theatre menu is available 7 days a week with a 2 course and 3 course option for £14.95 and £18.95. Perfect for an office lunch or a break from retail therapy on George Street, sooth your woes with a delicious lunch and a glass of wine.


Of course our full A La Carte menu is available 7 days, 12pm to 10pm.
