Harden's says

A £2m government-funded scheme to regenerate Eastbourne's shorefront after fire devastated its 146-year-old pier will include a £1.2m restaurant housed within the town's Wish Tower. Rick Stein's company was at one point rumoured to be favourite to head up the new venture, however a petition to award the restaurant contract to a local caterer was launched in July 2016.
