The Arts Club, founded in 1863, is the oldest club in the world created with the express aim of providing a meeting place for those interested in the arts, literature and science. The Club is open for private hire at weekends, and during the week by prior arrangement. Good parties are a speciality at the Arts Club. The Dining Room, overlooking the private garden, is ideal for a dinner party, wedding or larger-scale celebrations and seats up to 150 guests. The garden is the ideal place for a fête champêtre. Upstairs is the Drawing Room, a most elegant place to hold a reception or cocktail party. Downstairs is the Gallery where you can have a dinner for 80 or a cocktail party for 100. Naturally, you can always count on impeccable and cheerful service and absolutely cracking good food and wine.
